Needles and hooks

And of course, just when you've typed a four page blog entry, pffffff....

Just got back from the dental hygienist. 5 minutes into the appointment, I suddenly remembered why I hate dental hygienists... After prodding and poking me with sharp implements, spraying my face and sucking my cheeks dry, lots of tutting and shaking her head, she AGAIN explained to me how to clean my teeth, how to use picks, and how to not stop as soon as it starts bleeding and hurting. I know. I know. I know. Still don't like her. Doesn't help she has the same name as my accountant, either...

On a happier note, big S came back from a long weekend in London and brought me this: after ripping open the package (book!) and seeing the magic word oller and an elbow clad in a blue cardigan, I started screaming: THANKYOU!!! Cool to finally have some of the techniques down on paper... Why do some sound like nasty S&M techniques? Like the two fisted fair-isle or three-needle bind off. hihi...

I've made progress on my Magic Sock Ball. It's all wound up and the self-made giftie is nearly done. It will be on its way soon! With a nice sock pattern and bubblicious gifts... Hope you like it, secret sockie pal(ette)!

Finished my ONline sock, cute! Simple! Wearable! Will cast on the second one soon. Ideal project for on the bus. Will fit in my new felted hand bag, which I'm going to make now I've got Debbie's book ;-) Otherwise very little happening, busy with work, so usually to be found sitting behind the computer, and when not working, keeping kids/husband/fish (o, shoot, knew I forgot something) /rabbits happy.

Laterzzzzz....

ps: just found a 'concept' of my earlier message. O yeah, forgot Blogger remembers to save stuff for you... Blonde...
