Shrug done / Shrug is klaar

Thanks for the comments ;) I also use alufoil to keep snails away, the only disadvantage is that it doesn't make the garden any prettier... But as it's for the greater good, I'll get out my roll of shiny foil in a minute...

Yesterday I also took some pictures of my shrug. I finished it a few days ago, but the camera, with all the Austria pictures on it, had disappeared to the attic while Steve was downloading these.

Without furter ado... my shrug. It's super light and super warm, odd that something so open and airy can warm you up so nicely...

Dus zonder verdere omhaal... mijn shrug.

Made out of a single thread of Drops Kidsilk (needle size 4 or 4.5) with Drops Alpaca added (and huge needles) for the cuffs. I'm not too sure about the added stitches halfway the edging and the final bind-off (I did the extra loose K2tog version) but I'll live with it for a bit and see what I think...

On to my next project! I'm still working on the Travelling Roses scarf and Hannahs crocheted bag... But I feel a tingle coming, and the Drops books are calling really loudly... Socks?
